Manuel Llorens, a former skateboarder and achitect, started together with his wife – an interior designer – a few years ago his company Skate-Home. The idea came as they both wanted to buy a book shelf for their children and didn´t found any suitable shelfs. So they started to combine Manuels old skateboard-decks and built a first shelf. This was only the first step. A little later both started to design furniture using real skateboards and turn them into couches, chairs, coat racks, lamps, mirrors, chests, stools and developed more porducts. At the end they founded Skate-Home on the union of their two passions – skateboarding and interior design. This union gave birth to a wide range of products to decorate your home with items related to the world of skateboarding. In homes, it is important to surround yourself with a personal decoration in harmony with our lifestyle.
